I purchased this item for a daughter who does a lot of cooking on Silpats.
Since I already have a cutter exactly like this one I thought it would be put to good use.
It cuts even the most difficult pizza crusts with little difficulty. I have "sharpened" the edges with an emery board. It cleans up in the dishwasher easily.
The handle is of the type that is easy to grip and your fingers won't slide down toward the wheel.

Really a great piece, BUT DON'T USE in a regular pan, and be carefull, it makes a mark in non-stick pans, but it's amazing when the cheese doesn't runaway from the pizza!!

This is an awesome pizza cutter. Not only is it non-stick, you can cut pizza straight out of the oven without waiting for it to cool. It's perfect if you have impatient kids. You can even cut the pizza into little bites straight on their plastic plate without making a mess of the pizza or scratching the plate. Of course, it's a must if you have non-stick pizza pans too.
