I am very happy that I bought this. It does exactly what I hoped: reduce fingerprints and eliminate glare. I can no longer see my reflection in my xoom screen and it is easy to use in bright light. I also don't need to carry a cloth around anymore to wipe the screen constantly. A HUGE improvement on both points.
I bought three other, much cheaper ones as well but they did not change the glare factor and even made fingerprints much more difficult to remove.
My only issue is the extreme static charge that this has when you remove the backing. I was at a clean table and had cleaned my screen with windex and a lint free cloth just before we removed this from the sleeve and pulled the backing. So there was no issue with the device screen or my hands cleanliness. As we pulled the backing off I could visibly see lint attaching itself to the sticky side while we aligned it over the screen (in that 10 second period). It was ridiculous. Instantly it trapped debris that we then had to spend 20 minutes surgically removing with tape and tweezers. I have put on many of these on my phones over the years (three others on the xoom in the last week) and have never had this much trouble. But I got all but maybe ten tiny spots off and they are minimal so it looks fine when the screen is on.
All in all it was worth the 20 minutes of frustration for the best anti-glare protector on Amazon.

Here's the problem: if there are any dust particles -- even microscopic ones -- on your screen or on the overlay, you will see bubbles underneath the overlay when it is applied to the screen. And unless you happen to be living in one of the clean rooms in an Intel fabrication plant, you won't be able to get rid of these dust particles or the bubbles they cause.
After an hour of air dusting, cleaning, washing and repeatedly re-applying the overlay, I threw it out.
